We sell reconditioned Macs. Among the cream of the crop is one of the last tower Mac Pros. This model sold for $2499 from 2010 to 2012. We increased the RAM, added a huge 2TB drive as additional storage (it holds up to four drives), and cut the price by half. Selling price is $1250. Compare this with a new Mac Pro starting at about 3K.
If the cost of upgrading your Mac seems prohibitive or you’d just like to buy new, feel free to ask for a price quote on the trade-in value. We especially like to get laptops that are just out of Applecare warranty. With Apple releasing new Macs several times per year, old models lose value quickly. This is also a good way to wipe the data from your old computer since we erase or replace the hard drive. We’ll give you 10-90% more towards a new purchase than Apple’s trade-in program if your Mac is accepted.
