The MacLab Team

  • Glenn Kowalski

    President and Founder

    Glenn has a background in technology and music. He is an expert diagnostician who brings a thorough knowledge of mobile device management (MDM), networking, servers, print, and troubleshooting. He is responsible for sales as well as scheduling, quality control and managed services. Glenn is also the MacLab support manager and as we like to say, air traffic controller. In his other life, he plays in a rock and roll band.

  • Tyrone Green

    Senior Support Technician

    Tyrone brought over nine years of technical service experience specializing in troubleshooting Macintosh hardware, software and networks when he came to MacLab in 1999. Tyrone’s technical interest began at Falcon Microsystems/GTSI providing Macintosh depot and field service. He then moved to Clinton Computer as an Apple technician. He further developed his skills at Universal Communication Inc.. Outside work, Tyrone enjoys his bowling league and Indycar races.

  • Mark Bitz

    Senior Support Technician

    Mark is a DC native and an American University graduate. After running his own computer business for five years, he started working for area managed service providers, supporting a wide range of clients, devices and environments. Mark has decades of experience in the industry with both Apple and Windows operating systems, firewalls, servers and diagnostics. In his spare time Mark enjoys playing and recording music, as well as spending time with his four legged friends, both dogs and cats.

  • Felts Jacobs

    Office Administrator, Support Technician

    Felts brings several years experience as an Apple-certified support professional. Felts worked for Apple as a Genius specializing in problem-solving, hardware repair, and software support for a wide range of Apple devices. He’s committed to providing high-level customer service. In his spare time, he enjoys live music and theater.

  • Scott Shields

    Bookkeeper

    Scott keeps the MacLab books in order. After all, we have to pay our bills too, right? Scott takes care of these things and has been doing so for a long time. After earning a degree in PoliSci from UC Irvine, Scott moved east on a White House Internship. Although exciting, he realized that one could not live on politics alone and got a “real” job. After working as the business manager for a design firm for five years, Scott began keeping the books at MacLab.
